How my 6 year old daughter made $25?
In this money making world where every body is busy planning and executing money making methods to earn living, only those who can create opportunities and capitalize them indeed make money.
Some family members were gathered at my house other day for dinner. While we all were busy eating and chating, my 6 years old daughter gathered some papers and cut them into different shapes. She arranged them on floor and called her uncle to look at her “shape museum”. She asked him whether he liked her shape museum. He told her yes, it is very nice. Then she asked a question which he was not expecting at all. She asked him “Will you like to purchase my paper shapes for $5 each?”. He bought one shape for $5. My daughter then invited others one by one by and asked the same question and by the end of the evening she was able to sell 5 of the shapes making $25.
She thought of this idea and tried and made some money. I am not suggesting in any way that every one will be able to sell what she was able to sell. Most of us have some very good ideas but we keep on planning or thinking about it and it never materilizes. Every one of us need to seize any opportunity whether small or large to make money.
